Conditions We Treat
Understanding your condition is the first step toward recovery. Learn about the symptoms, causes, and effective treatment options for common musculoskeletal conditions.
Lower Back Pain
Lower back pain (lumbar pain) is pain or discomfort in the area between the bottom of the ribcage and the top of the legs. It can range from a dull, constant ache to sudden, sharp pain that makes movement difficult. Lower back pain is one of the most common reasons people seek treatment — and one of the conditions we treat most frequently at our clinic.
Neck Pain
Neck pain (cervical pain) is discomfort in the structures of the neck, including muscles, nerves, vertebrae, and the discs between them. It can range from mild stiffness to severe, debilitating pain that radiates into the shoulders, arms, or head. Neck pain frequently causes headaches and can significantly impact daily activities and sleep quality.
Sciatica
Sciatica is pain that radiates along the path of the sciatic nerve, travelling from the lower back through the buttock and down the back of the leg. It occurs when a nerve root in the lumbar spine becomes compressed or irritated. While sciatica can be intensely painful, most cases resolve with non-surgical treatment when addressed promptly.
Herniated Disc
A herniated disc occurs when the soft, gel-like centre of a spinal disc pushes through a tear in its tougher outer ring. This displaced disc material can press on nearby spinal nerves, causing pain, numbness, or weakness in the back and limbs. Herniated discs most commonly affect the lumbar spine (lower back) but can also occur in the cervical spine (neck).
