General

Do I need a referral to visit your clinic?

No, you don't need a referral. You can book an appointment directly by phone, WhatsApp, or through our contact form. We welcome both new and returning patients.

Do you treat international patients and expats?

Yes — our clinic primarily serves the international expat community on the Costa Blanca. We speak English, Dutch, and Spanish, and we're experienced with international health insurance claims.

What should I expect during my first visit?

Your first visit includes a comprehensive assessment of your condition, medical history, and movement patterns. We'll discuss your symptoms, perform a physical examination, and create a personalised treatment plan. Please allow 45–60 minutes.

How many treatment sessions will I need?

This depends on your condition and its severity. Most patients notice improvement within 3–4 sessions. During your initial assessment, we'll give you an honest estimate of the recommended treatment course.

Insurance & Payment

Is treatment covered by insurance?

Many international health insurance providers cover our treatments. We can provide detailed invoices for reimbursement. Contact us with your insurance details and we'll help you understand your coverage.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, debit card, credit card (Visa, Mastercard), and bank transfer. Payment is due at the time of treatment.

Do you offer package deals for multiple sessions?

Yes, we offer treatment packages at a reduced rate for patients who need a course of sessions. Ask about our package options during your initial assessment.

Treatments

What is spinal decompression therapy?

Spinal decompression is a non-surgical, motorised traction therapy that gently stretches the spine to relieve pressure on compressed discs and pinched nerves. Learn more on our spinal decompression page.

Is spinal decompression painful?

No. Most patients find the treatment comfortable and relaxing. You'll feel a gentle stretch in your spine. Some patients even fall asleep during the session.

Do I need to be an athlete to benefit from sports massage?

Not at all. Sports massage benefits anyone with muscle tension, chronic pain, or an active lifestyle — including golfers, cyclists, hikers, and people with desk-related tension.

What is the difference between sports massage and relaxation massage?

Sports massage uses firmer pressure and targeted techniques (deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release) to treat specific problem areas. It's therapeutic rather than purely relaxing. Read more about our sports massage approach.

Conditions

When should I see a specialist for back pain?

You should seek help if your lower back pain lasts longer than 2–3 weeks, radiates into your legs, is accompanied by numbness or tingling, disrupts your sleep, or limits your daily activities.

Can neck pain cause headaches?

Yes. Cervicogenic headaches originate from structures in the neck — tight muscles, stiff joints, or irritated nerves. Treating the underlying neck pain often resolves the headaches.

What is sciatica?

Sciatica is pain that radiates along the sciatic nerve, from the lower back through the buttock and down the leg. It's usually caused by a herniated disc or bone spur compressing the nerve. We treat sciatica with spinal decompression and targeted manual therapy.
